Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the Astrosoft Tamil mobile application (the "App"), published by AAATechnologies ("we", "us", "our"), handles your information. We designed the App to work on your device: we do not operate servers that receive your data, and we do not collect, sell, or share your personal information.
1. Information you enter
To generate horoscopes, matchmaking, and other results, you may enter details such as name, gender, date of birth, time of birth, and place of birth, for yourself or for others. This information:
- is stored only on your device, in the App's private storage;
- is never sent to us or to any server we control;
- is deleted when you delete a profile in the App, clear the App's data, or uninstall the App.
2. Place search and location
When you search for a birth place or location, the App first looks it up in a built-in list of cities on your device. If there is no match, the App uses Android's built-in geocoding service to find the place's coordinates. That service is provided by your device platform (on most devices, Google), and the search text you type may be sent to it. Such processing is governed by the provider's privacy policy, for example the Google Privacy Policy.
The App does not track your location in the background, and we do not receive or store your location.
3. PDF reports
PDF reports you export are created on your device. If you choose to save or share a report, it is handled by the app or destination you pick, under that service's own terms.
4. Analytics, advertising, and tracking
The App does not contain advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs, and does not create a profile of you for advertising.
5. Google Play
The App is purchased and installed through Google Play. Google may collect information related to your purchase and device under the Google Privacy Policy. We only receive the aggregated, anonymised statistics and crash reports that Google Play Console provides to developers.
6. Children
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Security
Your data stays in the App's private storage on your device, protected by Android's app sandbox. Please protect your device with a screen lock.
8. Your choices
You can view, edit, or delete saved profiles at any time in the App. Uninstalling the App removes all data it has stored on your device.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
