Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Astrosoft Tamil mobile application (the "App"), published by AAATechnologies ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. The App
The App provides Vedic astrology tools including Panchangam, horoscope and divisional charts, dasa periods, matchmaking (porutham), muhurtha, transit (gochar) analysis, numerology, and PDF report export. All calculations are performed on your device.
2. Licence to use
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on Android devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the App, except as permitted by applicable law or by the licences of open-source components included in the App.
3. Astrology disclaimer
Astrology is a traditional belief system, not a science. The predictions, charts, compatibility scores, auspicious timings, and other results shown by the App are provided for informational, cultural, and entertainment purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional advice of any kind, including medical, legal, financial, psychological, or marital advice.
You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on the App's output, including decisions about marriage, health, finance, career, travel, or ceremonies. We do not guarantee any outcome.
4. Accuracy of calculations
We make reasonable efforts to ensure calculations are accurate, but results depend on the birth date, time, and place you enter, and on the astronomical and traditional methods used. Different astrological traditions, ayanamsa settings, and software may give different results. The App is provided without any warranty of accuracy or completeness.
5. Purchases and refunds
The App is sold through Google Play. Payments, billing, and refunds are handled by Google and are governed by the Google Play refund policy and Google Play Terms of Service. Your purchase gives you a licence to use the App as described in these Terms; it does not transfer ownership of the App.
6. Your responsibilities
You agree to use the App lawfully and not to use it to harm, harass, or mislead others. If you enter information about other people (for example, for matchmaking), you are responsible for having their permission to do so.
7. Intellectual property
The App, including its design, text, graphics, and code (other than third-party and open-source components), is owned by us and protected by copyright and other laws. Third-party and open-source components are used under their respective licences.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the App or its results. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App.
10. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to the App and these Terms
We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the App after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Termination
Your licence ends automatically if you breach these Terms. On termination you must stop using the App and uninstall it.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
